On Seeing the TRUTH of the World

19 And we know that we are of God,

and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

1 John 5:19

King James Version

A remarkable thing happens, when you have embraced JESUS in full.

You are no longer a fool.

You see the world for what it is.

You see who runs it.

You see the suffering of others.

You pray for greater understanding, that you be used for God's purpose alone.

It's all a progression in spiritual knowledge, the only knowledge that matters now, more than ever.

All other knowledge belongs to the world.

A true Christian follows JESUS, the "man of sorrows".

3 He is despised and rejected of men

a man of sorrows,

and acquainted with grief:

and we hid as it were our faces from him;

he was despised,

and we esteemed him not.

Isaiah 53:3

King James Version

When you truly love God, you wish to be obedient to Him.

You want to know:

what pleases Him

what makes Him angry

what He wants you to do.

All those questions of mine, have been answered, by the ONLY reliable reference we are to count on in these end times -- SCRIPTURE.

You will know if you are a true follower of Christ, when self disappears.

30 He must increase,

but I must decrease.

John 3:30

King James Version

There is no more longing for the things of the world, because the material has never been the spiritual.

There is even no panic, nor grief, when self disappears, for all that's left is CHRIST.

He becomes your Good Shepherd.

The One who leads all who have gone astray.

The One who will look for that one person lost, even as the rest of the 99 from the flock are safe.

And when that happens, heaven and the presence of the angels of God rejoice, over one sinner that "repenteth".

What is the truth of the world, after all, but that it belongs to satan.

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded

the minds of them which believe not

lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,

who is the image of God,

should shine unto them.

2 Corinthians 4:4

King James Version

If you are God's own, you will have nothing to do with the world, even as you are living, breathing, and working on earth.

You cannot be bought, you cannot be swayed, and the riches of the world don't impress you, for those are temporary.

You don't find glitter, or fascination, in the positions, prestige, and promises of men.

"All is vanity."

All is "vexation of spirit".

14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun;

and, behold,

all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

Ecclesiastes 1:14

King James Version

Only Jesus can satisfy the thirst of your soul.

When Jesus comes to take His faithful, to join those who have gone on ahead of us, and to make war with the world, you will want to be following Him, with the promise of eternal life.

This life we have in the world, is but a moment, and here's what can happen, in the blink of an eye, at ANY time God chooses to:

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord,

that we which are alive and remain

unto the coming

of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven

with a shout,

with the voice of the archangel,

and with the trump of God:

and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain

shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,

to meet the Lord in the air:

and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

King James Version

Now, you can see that what we have on earth, is as nothing to the LORD.

The only LIGHT and GUIDE we must seek is CHRIST, the TRUE MEDIATOR of GOD.

Our only hope is in JESUS.

4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:
and this is the victory that overcometh the world,
even our faith.
1 John 5:4
King James Version

Interestingly (but I am not surprised, for it has been happening for some time now), Bible Gateway's "Verse of the Day" confirms how Jesus answered my prayer this morning, about seeing -- through spiritual eyes -- the true suffering of others:

2 Bear ye one another's burdens,
and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2
King James Version

Jesus answers my prayer, before I've even finished mouthing the prayer -- leading me to immediately write an article, such as the one you're reading now.

Last of all, the Holy SPIRIT of God led me to this verse, so we may know what to focus on, in these most determining times:

2 Set your affection on things above
not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:2
King James Version

OFFSPRING of 2 Blogs

Is it possible for two blogs to give birth to another blog?

Oh yes, for sure!

That's what happened to me, and my work.

"Archaeologist of the Soul" was the mother.

"Prophecy Lessons" was the father.

Together, they gave birth to a child, "The Simplicity of SCRIPTURE", or SOS.

Only through the Holy Spirit of God could that have happened.

Now, the learning was consolidated, simplified, and strengthened.

The Holy Spirit knew I was ready to go to the "meat" of Scripture.

Everything just fell into place, and I merely followed the Holy Spirit's "prompts" -- all a result of constant prayer, and listening.

The Holy Spirit of God allowed me to "thresh" out Scripture -- word by word, phrase by phrase.

In doing so, I felt the real power of God's WORD, and began to understand it better.

Why is it so important to focus on each word, or each phrase?

More than at any other time in our lives, we are to focus on God's WORD, for the world has gone really strange.

Never again will you feel lost, or confused, for God's Word is right there, waiting for you.

For all your questions, find clarity and comfort in Scripture.

Let the Holy Spirit of God guide you, and explain things to you.

Let the promises of Jesus give you the peace, love, and joy you need.

If you want to go to the core of Scripture, SOS will show you.

You will find that, as you immerse yourself in Scripture, you can never have enough of it.

The Bible has too many beautiful things for you to know!

Each book is a wealth of material on God's history, His love, His promises, His power, His plans, and messages through His Son, JESUS, through the prophets, and apostles.

It makes sense to give your heart to the LORD now.

Only then can you really understand the true message of the Bible.

Only then will you want to be God's own, and not the world's own.

May the Holy Spirit of God shine His LIGHT upon the dark places of our souls, so we may hunger for the WORDS of Jesus, and be completely God's own.

Here are the articles from this new blog!

How the Holy SPIRIT Writes Through Me

3 And said,

Verily I say unto you,

Except ye be converted,

and become as little children,

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:3

King James Version

I don't know if you know about the Holy SPIRIT of God.

And if you do, I also don't know how He works with you.

But this I know -- how He works and writes -- through me.

When it comes to the LORD Jesus, I approached Him, knowing nothing, and yet wanting to know EVERYTHING.

So, He let me immerse myself in Scripture for a year, to familiarize myself with His WORDS.

Then He started showing me a different way of sharing verses with you.

But only because He knows my heart.

I like writing and sharing simply.

I like precision, and clarity.

I like God's TRUTH alone.

I like JESUS' words, just as He said it.

So, Jesus worked with all that, and I found my writing was transformed in a fun, and easy way, even as Scripture could be complex.

I approached God's WORD from the point of view of a child, eager to know what it's all about, and just reading Scripture AS IS.

It's good I'm not a theologian.

I'm just a curious child, eager to learn, eager to share ALL that Jesus had to say, especially in this day, and age.

A very good example is this post I wrote yesterday, from a new blog I created a few days ago.

I noticed this is how Holy Spirit and I work together:

1. He would inspire me with an IDEA for an article.

2. He would let me search for the PERFECT verse to accompany that article.

3. He would guide me HOW to deliver the verses to you. We usually focus on phrases or a word at a time. Just so you know, EACH word has GREAT power.

4. He would do the EDITING, and the finished article would initially look normal, until I'd find LARGER fonts -- as if randomly -- when I know it is by His direct, DIVINE design, wanting to emphasize particular words, and phrases.

So, my article shares God's verses, looking more like poetry, short, and precise, but fun, and easy to read -- clear as the light of day -- all because The Holy SPIRIT coached me to take it a phrase, or a word, at a time.

And then I thought to myself, why should I be surprised that the LORD would teach me that way, or have our ideas (His TEACHINGS) published in a quirky way, when He is the MASTER of WORDS.

Jesus is the WORD of God, as these verses would show.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:

and his name is called The Word of God.

Revelation 19:13 (KJV)

1 In the beginning was the Word,

and the Word was with God,

and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him;

and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life;

and the life was the light of men.

John 1:1-4 (KJV)

14 And the Word was made flesh,

and dwelt among us,

(and we beheld his glory,

the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)

full of grace and truth.

John 1:14 (KJV)

That's why EVERY word from GOD has GREAT power.

And that's why I take it a word at a time, as if a child just learning her ABCs.

In the process, I understand Scripture so much better now.

God DESIGNED my learning process.

He is the ARCHITECT of ALL.

He will design yours, too, if you dearly desire to know His WORD.
