My Work as Writer and Warrior For God

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless,
the sons of God,
without rebuke,
in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation,
among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
16 Holding forth the word of life;
that I may rejoice in the day of Christ,
that I have not run in vain,
neither laboured in vain.

Philippians 2:14-16
King James Version

I love my work -- writing for God.

But I didn't know I was a warrior for God, too.

Joseph, my Bible teacher, pointed that out to me.

And it made me cry.

When something is so powerful -- from the Holy Spirit -- you recognize it.

And if your heart is true, you'd know, and you'd surely cry, too.

The things of the SPIRIT are powerful.

Your feelings, when moved by the Holy Spirit of God, signify your authenticity as a servant of the LORD.

I serve God.

I follow Jesus.

I am being instructed by the Holy Spirit of God each day.

The Holy Spirit teaches me everything about Jesus.

Jesus teaches me everything about God.

God gave us the Holy Spirit, to teach us about Jesus.

Can you see how it all works?

It's always full circle with the TRIUNE God.

God, the FATHER;
God, the SON;
God, the HOLY SPIRIT.

In school, they didn't elaborate about the Triune God.

Understandable, for it can be complex.

It's only when I became a born-again Christian, studying the verses the Holy Spirit of God would lead me to, that I began to piece the puzzle, and establish the BEAUTIFUL connection among all of them.

Then, my work blossomed.

I began to know who I really am, what I really was, what I needed to do, who I needed to serve, who to believe, who to trust, and what to work on.

God knows I like to self-study, so He worked with what He had given me.

He created me in the first place.

He knew what I was all about.

He knew how my life would be.

He knew how I'd turn out.

But He allowed me my choices.

Often, it was those wrong choices, that built strength, character, and perseverance -- testing the mettle of your spirit -- only if you'd allow it to.

Strangely, wrongful choices teach one the most.

He knew I was His own, but I had to go through so much challenges, so many errors, so many revelatory dreams, so much preparation, for my work to be established.

Forged by fire, my heart of steel melts in God's hands.

He knew my difficult life, was going to serve the work I was purposed to do for Him.

I chose Him, above everything else the world had to offer.

And I stood by it, for the longest time.

The riches of the world are temporary, and don't fill my heart.

If anything, they endanger my soul.

So, the decision was pretty easy.

I write about the GLORY of God.

I write about the GIFTS of the Holy Spirit.

I write about the MAGNIFICENCE of Jesus.

I write about Bible PROPHECY.

I write about SPIRITUAL warfare.

I write about SCRIPTURE.

I write about REPENTANCE.

I write about the NEW Jerusalem.

I write about COMPASSION.

And all these I share with whoever cares to listen, with whoever's heart stirs for the LORD.

God lives in you.

How can He not?

He breathed life in you.

"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul."

Genesis 2:7
King James Version

And now, that life is being snuffed out of us, by the enemies of Christ, in more ways than you can imagine, we followers of Jesus must pay more attention to the workings of the Holy SPIRIT, and hold fast to JESUS.

As always, the enemy's objective is mockery of God.

They cannot stand the PERFECTION of the LORD.

Thus, I quadruple my work.

And I put on my spiritual armor.

Yes, perhaps, I am a warrior for God, after all.

JESUS as the LIGHT of the World

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them,
saying,
I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.

John 8:12
King James Version

All of us have been walking in darkness, when the LIGHT had been there all the time.

And we wonder why the world is the way it is today.

For we don't have CHRIST in our hearts.

The Lord Jesus has been waiting all this time.

For all the aches and pains, the confusion and the corruption in this world, Jesus -- through the Holy SPIRIT of God -- is the ONLY one who can shine light on things.

We cannot make sense of the world, for the world doesn't make sense.

Only through the Holy Spirit can we be rightfully shown EVERYTHING we need to know, or learn.

The HS is also the One that teaches us about Jesus, for the LORD may have left this world, and yet lives in each one of us, if only we'd care to look.

Our souls need triggers for remembrance.

I had mine, at a time nothing in this world sufficed.

My soul was ready to receive the LORD, and lo and behold!

The LORD had been waiting all this time.

He showed up in several of my dreams -- quiet, knowing, but waiting -- bathed in LIGHT.

The Light was waiting for me, even as I was shown the climb would be arduous, but the LIGHT of Jesus was there!

I knew where I needed to go.

And now, I can tell you about the Light of the LORD.

For now, I read his Word, without which, my learning would be wholly incomplete.

Our souls need the LIGHT of the Lord, if we are to re-join Him one day -- at a time of God's choosing.

Can you imagine a soul that has not known God?

Can you imagine the darkness that await us all?

Only by the LIGHT of Jesus can we begin to see.

We have all been groping and scrambling in the dark, with the world making sure we see what it wants us to see.

Most importantly, it tries to hide the LIGHT of God from all of us, preferring to keep things hidden, and all our light dim, for in that darkness, is their control.

But surely your heart longs for more.

Surely, you know there is so much more than what the world offers.

And so, your heart begins to search.

God searches your heart, too, for He did say:

10 I the Lord search the heart,
I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings.

Jeremiah 17:10
King James Version

And when your heart searches, and God is pleased, knowing you wish to genuinely know His Son, He sends His Holy Spirit to begin teaching you.

Soon, it will have been a year that I had been a student of the Holy SPIRIT of God.

The learning has been deep.

The verses have been powerful.

The WORD of God is unquestionable.

You cannot know the relief of finding light, when you have been walking in darkness.

And one day, CHRIST will return, in ALL His Glory, and all we know now, will be as nothing.

11 And I saw heaven opened,
and behold a white horse;
and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire,
and on his head were many crowns;
and he had a name written,
that no man knew,
but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:
and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven
followed him upon white horses,
clothed in fine linen,
white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword,
that with it he should smite the nations:
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:
and he treadeth the winepress
of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture
and on his thigh a name written,
King Of Kings,
And Lord Of Lords.

Revelation 19:11-16
King James Version

Make our paths straight then.

The LORD will be returning, at a time we least expect it.

The world will sway you this way, and that way, but the only WAY is JESUS.

Time is short, but the patience of God is legendary.

P.S. Again, God seems to like this piece, for when I checked the "Verse of the Day" from biblegateway.com -- the source for the verses the Holy Spirit leads me to -- this is what I found today:

3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:3
King James Version

The Promises of Jesus

11 For the Son of man is come
to save that which was lost.

Matthew 18:11
King James Version

Those were Jesus' words to His disciples.

That means, we, the lost, have got hope.

Jesus came to the world to save the lost ones.

That's why He spoke in parables, so we may understand His teachings.

Those who are not hard of heart, nor hearing, invite the Holy SPIRIT of God to teach them.

Those who are not "wise to the world" happily make room for Christ in their hearts.

There's a beautiful section in the Bible, even as it was during the crucifixion of Christ.

One "malefactor" was nailed to the cross, and listen to what he asks of Jesus, even as his other companion grumbled and challenged the LORDship of Jesus:

42 And he said unto Jesus,
Lord,
remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him,
Verily I say unto thee,
Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Luke 23:42-43
King James Version

That's the promise of JESUS.

That we shall enter His kingdom, if we believe in Him.

And that's also what He likes.

That we believe in Him, that we humble ourselves before Him -- as He has humbled Himself before the FATHER.

But we have to have the heart of a child, believing and trusting in God completely.

Only through such humility, such eagerness to know the words of Christ, can we have a chance of being with Him for eternity.

Look what He tells His disciples:

3 And said,
Verily I say unto you,
Except ye be converted,
and become as little children,
ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:3
King James Version

Jesus is the "door" of the sheep.

We are the sheep.

Listen to His Promises:

9 I am the door:
by me if any man enter in,
he shall be saved,
and shall go in and out,
and find pasture.

John 10:9
King James Version

God was very clear about His Son's purpose on earth.

Let Jesus tell you Himself:

17 For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:17
King James Version

What more would it take for us to give our lives to the LORD, when He has given His life for us -- that we may all be saved?

We may have fallen, and gotten up, and fallen again, but if we give our heart to the LORD, we will be instructed by the Holy SPIRIT, and we will live right.

We will live by Scripture.

Jesus waits for such followers.

Are you such a follower?

9 Things JESUS the SON of GOD Wants Us To Do

The Bible is a treasure of beautiful instructions from the LORD.

Here are nine things JESUS asked of us, that we may be freed of sin, and so we may have eternal life with Him.

It is a wonderful way to live life each day, following the sacred laws of Jesus.

1. Love God with all your heart.

Mark 12:29-30
King James Version
29 And Jesus answered him,
The first of all the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel;
The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength
this is the first commandment.

2. Love one another.

John 15:12
King James Version
12 This is my commandment,
That ye love one another
as I have loved you.

3. Take heed, watch and pray.

Mark 13:33
King James Version
33 Take ye heed,
watch and pray
for ye know not when the time is.

4. Keep His commandments.

John 15:10
King James Version
10 If ye keep my commandments,
ye shall abide in my love
even as I have kept my Father's commandments,
and abide in his love.

5. Repent, and believe the Gospel.

Mark 1:15
King James Version
15 And saying,
The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye,
and believe the gospel.

6. Be perfect.

Matthew 5:48
King James Version
48 Be ye therefore perfect
even as your Father which is in heaven
is perfect.

7. Believe in JESUS, the SON of GOD.

John 6:47
King James Version
47 Verily, verily,
I say unto you,
He that believeth on me
hath everlasting life.

8. Be born again.

John 3:5-7
King James Version
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily,
I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.

9. Become as little children.

Matthew 18:3
King James Version
3 And said,
Verily I say unto you,
Except ye be converted,
and become as little children
ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

This 7th post ends the 7-part series of my little contribution to glorifying God, through JESUS, the SON of GOD.

I asked that Jesus, through the Holy SPIRIT of God, help me find the perfect verse each time, so we may all remember.

As you are learning, so am I, too.

We're all in this path together -- back to GOD -- through Jesus.

May we live, and abide, by the instructions of Jesus.

GOD continue to bless all of us!

JESUS the SON of GOD Has Many Other Titles

Luke 1:30-31
King James Version
30 And the angel said unto her,
Fear not, Mary:
for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold,
thou shalt conceive in thy womb,
and bring forth a son,
and shalt call his name Jesus.

Do you realize that JESUS, the SON of God, had many other titles?

Only the SON, the proper HEIR to God's THRONE, with such a magnificent, spiritual bloodline, can have such trait, worthy of man's PRAISE.

The question is, are we worthy of Him?

Do we deserve the sacrifice JESUS gave us all, so we may be saved from our sins?

If you are not in awe yet, watch what the Holy SPIRIT of God led me to as we worked on five articles yesterday.

This is the sixth post in the series of articles the HS led me to write, for the GLORY of JESUS.

Here are some titles that are rightfully JESUS', as quoted in SCRIPTURE:

1. Son of the Highest

Luke 1:32-33
King James Version
32 He shall be great,
and shall be called
the Son of the Highest
and the Lord God shall give unto him
the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever;
and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

2. Son of the Blessed, Son of man

Mark 14:61-62
King James Version
61 But he held his peace,
and answered nothing.
Again the high priest asked him,
and said unto him,
Art thou the Christ,
the Son of the Blessed?
62 And Jesus said,
I am:
and ye shall see the Son of man sitting
on the right hand of power,
and coming in the clouds of heaven.

3. The Holy One of God

Luke 4:33-34
King James Version
33 And in the synagogue there was a man,
which had a spirit of an unclean devil,
and cried out with a loud voice,
34 Saying,
Let us alone;
what have we to do with thee,
thou Jesus of Nazareth?
art thou come to destroy us?
I know thee who thou art;
the Holy One of God.

4. The light of the world

John 8:12
King James Version
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them,
saying,
I am the light of the world
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.

5. Alpha and Omega

Revelation 22:13
King James Version
13 I am Alpha and Omega
the beginning and the end,
the first and the last.

6. The root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star

Revelation 22:16
King James Version
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you
these things in the churches.
I am the root and the offspring of David,
and the bright and morning star.

7. The Christ, the Son of the living God

Matthew 16:16
King James Version
16 And Simon Peter answered and said,
Thou art the Christ,
the Son of the living God.

28 Even as the Son of man came
not to be ministered unto,
but to minister
and to give his life
a ransom for many.

9. The Son of God, the true God, and eternal life

1 John 5:20
King James Version
20 And we know that the Son of God is come,
and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true
and we are in him that is true,
even in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God
and eternal life.

10. Beloved Son

Mark 9:7
King James Version
7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them:
and a voice came out of the cloud,
saying,
This is my beloved Son
hear him.

11. Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace

Isaiah 9:6
King James Version
6 For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful,
Counsellor,
The mighty God,
The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.

12. Immanuel

Verily, verily,
I say unto you,
I am the door of the sheep.

17. Good shepherd

John 10:11
King James Version
11 I am the good shepherd
the good shepherd giveth his life
for the sheep.

18. The resurrection and the life

John 11:25
King James Version
25 Jesus said unto her,
I am the resurrection,
and the life
he that believeth in me,
though he were dead,
yet shall he live:

19. The last Adam, a quickening spirit, the second man, the Lord from heaven

1 Corinthians 15:45-47
King James Version
45 And so it is written,
The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual,
but that which is natural;
and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy;
the second man is the Lord from heaven.

20. The only begotten Son of God

The Humility of JESUS the SON of GOD

Philippians 2:6-8
King James Version
6 Who,
being in the form of God,
thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation,
and took upon him the form of a servant,
and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man,
he humbled himself,
and became obedient unto death,
even the death of the cross.

Why is it difficult for me to follow any leader on earth?

Because they are not like JESUS, the SON of GOD, who took on the sins of the world.

Man looks after self.

Jesus looked after our souls.

This is the fifth post in the series of articles attesting to JESUS being the SON of GOD.

Obedient to the end, the LORD Jesus offered us eternal life.

John 6:40
King James Version
40 And this is the will of him that sent me,
that every one which seeth the Son,
and believeth on him,
may have everlasting life:
and I will raise him up at the last day.

Because the sheep (that's us) have gone astray, it was prophesied that Jesus would take the brunt of our sins.

Isaiah 53:6
King James Version
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the Lord hath laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

See how much the good shepherd loves us:

John 10:11
King James Version
11 I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd giveth his life
for the sheep.

Are we worthy of such sacrifice?

Are we worthy of such love?

Why is it so important to know Jesus right now?

Why is it vital we believe JESUS is the SON of GOD?

John 3:18
King James Version
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name
of the only begotten Son of God.

Do you feel the urgency to accept Jesus in your heart?

Don't the signs of the times indicate significant changes to the world?

How much longer are you going to wait, before you truly accept JESUS in your heart?

Listen to His invitation:

Mark 1:15
King James Version
15 And saying,
The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye,
and believe the gospel.

I follow Jesus, for He offered His life that I may be saved, from sins not His own.

2 Corinthians 5:21
King James Version
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin;
that we might be made
the righteousness of God in him.

I follow JESUS, the SON of GOD, for He and the FATHER are ONE.

John 10:30
King James Version
30 I and my Father are one.

I also follow Jesus because my heart told me to.

And it feels so very right in my heart.

I have found the peace, joy, and happiness the world could never give.

I found all that in CHRIST.

JESUS Admits He is the SON of GOD

The LORD Jesus was known to keep a low profile, usually disappearing into the crowd, or asking that people speak nothing of His miracles -- just yet -- for His "time" had not come.

This post is the fourth in a series of articles focusing on SCRIPTURE verses that attest to JESUS being the SON of GOD.

For "unbelieving generations", Jesus will tell you Himself:

Mark 14:61-62
King James Version
61 But he held his peace,
and answered nothing.
Again the high priest asked him,
and said unto him,
Art thou the Christ,
the Son of the Blessed?
62 And Jesus said,
I am:
and ye shall see the Son of man sitting
on the right hand of power,
and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Matthew 26:63-64
King James Version
63 But Jesus held his peace,
And the high priest answered and said unto him,
I adjure thee by the living God,
that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ,
the Son of God.
64 Jesus saith unto him,
Thou hast said:
nevertheless I say unto you,
Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting
on the right hand of power,
and coming in the clouds of heaven.

In the same manner, Jesus admits being the SON, by looking up to the FATHER.

John 8:54
King James Version
54 Jesus answered,
If I honour myself,
my honour is nothing:
it is my Father that honoureth me
of whom ye say,
that he is your God:

John 8:18-19
King James Version
18 I am one that bear witness of myself,
and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
19 Then said they unto him,
Where is thy Father?
Jesus answered,
Ye neither know me,
nor my Father:
if ye had known me,
ye should have known my Father also.

John 14:7
King James Version
7 If ye had known me,
ye should have known my Father also:
and from henceforth ye know him,
and have seen him.

John 14:13
King James Version
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name,
that will I do,
that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

A very beautiful passage can be found here, showing the Oneness of FATHER and SON, and the promises Jesus gave us, if we believe in Him.

If your heart is true, and you genuinely seek the TRUTH of the LORD, you shall surely find it.

The Holy SPIRIT of God will make sure you do.
