2 Timothy 2:15King James Version
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
Today marks this watchman/workman's seventh year as born again.
And what a journey it's been!
The most magnificent journey of all!
For I now know what GOD's laws are.
And have kept on the path, despite many errors, too.
Still, I followed closely behind JESUS.
And oftentimes, would try to catch up with Him, looking up at Him adoringly.
And He'd offer His hand to my tiny hand, amused at this little "creature", so very eager, and excited, to know Him.
Jumping, and skipping along, as I did.
As a happy child would.
For when you are forgiven, loved, and saved (from further harm), you can only know happiness.
Something the world cannot offer.
For it only offers temporary pleasures.
And most often, those pleasures are not what GOD would define.
Obedience to the LORD is a joy.
Knowing His laws is a delight.
Following Him is a given.
I could write tomes about it.
Which, of course, we did.
Through 113 blogs, and 22 spiritual warfare books.
Thanks to the HOLY SPIRIT's help, and guidance.
Without which, I'd have failed to understand the Bible at all.
No wonder I had not touched "The BOOK" for a long time.
I did not know how to begin.
I needed SPIRIT to teach me.
I needed GOD to convert me.
I needed JESUS to show me.
This workman prays directly to GOD.
I have not really attended any church.
Somehow, I just wanted it to be a personal relationship with GOD.
Wherein I pray, as a child, and ignorant person would.
Not knowing anything.
But wanting to know EVERYTHING.
All according to GOD's will, of course.
Something I would never want to be off course.
You can have your face, fame, and fortune.
I intend to walk behind, or alongside JESUS.
Making sure I'm in-step with the LORD.
Each day is such a lovely task to do so.
May you find yourself under the LIGHT, GRACE, and LOVE of the LORD, too.
All you have to do is be aware of sin.
What are your sins?
How have you sinned?
What is the cost of sin?
Who can help you?
That is a start.
As I did in this seven-year journey.
Which totally changed my whole life.
And made me understand why things are the way they are.
Finally understanding Who GOD Is, who people are, why the world is the way it is.
All will be made clear by the HOLY SPIRIT.
Through the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
