How the Holy SPIRIT Writes Through Me

3 And said,

Verily I say unto you,

Except ye be converted,

and become as little children,

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:3

King James Version

I don't know if you know about the Holy SPIRIT of God.

And if you do, I also don't know how He works with you.

But this I know -- how He works and writes -- through me.

When it comes to the LORD Jesus, I approached Him, knowing nothing, and yet wanting to know EVERYTHING.

So, He let me immerse myself in Scripture for a year, to familiarize myself with His WORDS.

Then He started showing me a different way of sharing verses with you.

But only because He knows my heart.

I like writing and sharing simply.

I like precision, and clarity.

I like God's TRUTH alone.

I like JESUS' words, just as He said it.

So, Jesus worked with all that, and I found my writing was transformed in a fun, and easy way, even as Scripture could be complex.

I approached God's WORD from the point of view of a child, eager to know what it's all about, and just reading Scripture AS IS.

It's good I'm not a theologian.

I'm just a curious child, eager to learn, eager to share ALL that Jesus had to say, especially in this day, and age.

A very good example is this post I wrote yesterday, from a new blog I created a few days ago.

I noticed this is how Holy Spirit and I work together:

1. He would inspire me with an IDEA for an article.

2. He would let me search for the PERFECT verse to accompany that article.

3. He would guide me HOW to deliver the verses to you. We usually focus on phrases or a word at a time. Just so you know, EACH word has GREAT power.

4. He would do the EDITING, and the finished article would initially look normal, until I'd find LARGER fonts -- as if randomly -- when I know it is by His direct, DIVINE design, wanting to emphasize particular words, and phrases.

So, my article shares God's verses, looking more like poetry, short, and precise, but fun, and easy to read -- clear as the light of day -- all because The Holy SPIRIT coached me to take it a phrase, or a word, at a time.

And then I thought to myself, why should I be surprised that the LORD would teach me that way, or have our ideas (His TEACHINGS) published in a quirky way, when He is the MASTER of WORDS.

Jesus is the WORD of God, as these verses would show.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:

and his name is called The Word of God.

Revelation 19:13 (KJV)

1 In the beginning was the Word,

and the Word was with God,

and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him;

and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life;

and the life was the light of men.

John 1:1-4 (KJV)

14 And the Word was made flesh,

and dwelt among us,

(and we beheld his glory,

the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)

full of grace and truth.

John 1:14 (KJV)

That's why EVERY word from GOD has GREAT power.

And that's why I take it a word at a time, as if a child just learning her ABCs.

In the process, I understand Scripture so much better now.

God DESIGNED my learning process.

He is the ARCHITECT of ALL.

He will design yours, too, if you dearly desire to know His WORD.

Digging Up the Soul

10 For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10
King James Version

With the heart of a tickled, expectant child, I sought out to dig my soul, the core of my being, on 24 November 2018.

I had no idea I was in for a BIG surprise.

All I knew was that I dearly wanted to know everything that I am, whatever it may be.

In the process, digging up one's soul probably exceeds any earthly, archaeological dig, for I truly found the CORE of my being, that which engaged my heart and mind for decades.

As a kid, I'd read most everything I could find at home.

And when my soul sought more, I looked towards libraries, fun psychological "tests" from magazines, even astrology for the day, or listened to older people.

I just knew I was in search of self.

And one day, that day in November 2018, I created this blog you're reading now, intent on the exercise.

What did I find nearly 20 months later?

CHRIST.

I found He was the CORE of my being, the "Way, the Truth, and the Life", that no one comes to the FATHER, except "through Him".

That without Christ, we are nothing.

Sure, Catholicism taught me that the LORD gave up His life, taking on our sins, so we may be saved.

But the IMMENSITY of it didn't really sink in -- until I "conducted" my own self-research, from the depths of my heart and being.

Oh my, what magnificent discoveries showed up!

Such as the ONLY reference for such a search would have to be SCRIPTURE!

When I started reading the Bible in September last year, my whole life radically changed.

I cannot be the "old" me anymore.

I had to be born in Spirit, thus, I chose to become born again on the spot, a day before my birthday last year.

The timing was PERFECT, just as God deemed it for me.

Jesus left us with the Holy Spirit so we may find our way back to Him.

SPIRIT was to be our Teacher and Advocate.

Jesus was not about to leave us bereft of His divine presence.

He knew what our hearts were made of.

We could easily get lost along the way.

CHRIST was our Road Map.

No one could enter the gates of heaven, except through Him, the Son of God.

Everything we are belongs to God.

It only made sense, after my many discoveries through Scripture, that I offer my life back to God, my CREATOR.

Surprise, after surprise, showed up.

I am living testimony of what it means to seek God.

You end up knowing about CHRIST.

The learning and "connections" are magnificent, leaving you in awe each time.

Like I'm writing this post for you, me, and God today, and yet He opens another layer to it, revealing that EXACTLY a year from the creation of this blog, 22 books on spiritual warfare started streaming forth from my heart.

Of course, God wasn't finished yet.

Two more books, this time just on Jesus, showed up.

When you work closely with God, intent on only getting things right in your heart about Him, He will ASTOUND you with many blessings, discoveries, and a network of connections that will blow your mind.

No school can teach you that.

No school can teach you about God.

No school can teach you what work you should do.

Only the Holy Spirit of God, the TEACHER of All Things, can teach you what your soul needs to know.

26 But the Comforter,
which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:26
King James Version

What happens when you start learning, really really learning?

Well, self falls away.

You lose all pre-occupation with self.

The world is pre-occupied with self, and thus, not with God.

A pre-occupation with self, is a pre-occupation with the world.

When you realize where EVERYTHING comes from, self falls away.

God is all that matters, just as Jesus taught all of us.

If you wish to drink from the "cup of the LORD", you can only sup at His table.

God's Laws are unbending, as it ought to be.

We deviate from that, and it costs us our soul.

God knew my heart when I sought to find my "soil" and "soul".

He knew I was seeking Him.

And, in the seeking, was the FINDING.

7 Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth;
and he that seeketh findeth;
and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 7:7-8
King James Version

Last of all, seek God with a child-like heart.

That was what I was doing right, too.

Perhaps, it was really the core of my being, anyway.

Looking upon things in a child-like, trusting, playful, adventuresome way.

You know how kids are -- without guile.

They ask the first things on their mind.

That's exactly what God likes.

In your search for God, lay your heart bare (even as He already knows everything about you).

Leave no stone unturned (He knew that about me).

And be persistent, and true to your search.

In the process (for it will be a PROCESS), expect your life to radically change, in ways you cannot imagine now.

But the fact that you're searching, only means you're ready for that radical change.

Gather your gear, which is nothing but your heart, and seek God then!

And may your resolve be so strong, you'll seek Him NOW!

Something Good Surfaces All the Time

Do you believe that something good surfaces all the time, despite all the challenges in our lives?

I firmly believe that, for when it seems all is lost, something wonderful surfaces on its own.

And it seems that the key there is when you "trust and allow".

It always good to do your best but sometimes, you must ALLOW Heaven to help you.

Sometimes, you must step back and let God work His Miracles "through" you or "through" others.

After we pray and ask for help, we don't really know how the miracle will take place -- in what form, through which people, or how it will come through us.

But one thing for sure, Heaven never sleeps. God is always awake. The Angels are always on stand-by, waiting for God's Instructions.

There's only so much we humans can do and oftentimes, when we're all exhausted and depleted, not knowing what to do anymore, something wonderful surfaces and we say such things like:

"That was a miracle!"

"Where did that come from?"

And we gasp in awe at how things "seem" to have evolved on their own, without us even lifting a finger.

Another key to miracles is to keep believing.

Have faith that God is in charge and sees all we go through each day.

There is nothing in Heaven that will not be for our good. It is all good. It is all God. We simply have to have faith that God is in charge, despite the seeming disorder and chaos in our lives and in this world.

Keep that grace.

Keep that faith.

Keep that love in your heart.

You will love working with God.

If it feels good in your heart, then you know it's been a "prompt" from Heaven.

If it makes you cry as you set about that task, then you know it's from Heaven, for it touches your heart so.

If you do things without calling attention to yourself, but merely directing people back to the God, then you know it's from Heaven.

With help like that, how can one fail?

6 Things For a Beautiful 2019

A new year will be here soon.

Another wonderful opportunity to think, speak, and do better.

And while we're still at the doorway, we can assess how it's all been for us and see what we can do better this time around.

Every day, as always, is a golden opportunity to create more wonderful and positive things and to be kinder to others.

It's your life.

You must give attention to how you're living it.

Have a desire for God so great that nothing can ever dampen your spirit.

When you love God so much, you will also make sure others become know about Him.

What really matters most anyway in life?

1. That we love God above all.

2. That we know God's will.

3. That we believe in Jesus.

4. That we are guided by the Holy Spirit.

5. That we live by Scripture.

6. That we respect each other's rights.

7. That we love each other.

It's always good to stick to the few basics.

Doesn't make sense to over-think it, really.

But these are what always spring from my soul.

I'm sure you'll have your own "tenets" for living.

After all, it's your life and you ought to live it your way, the best way you alone know how.

I created this blog primarily for myself, to document my own life and thinking at each moment, and to help me remember stuff I may have forgotten.

If people care for my thoughts, I'd be so honored that you'll want to look into my 60 blog posts so far. That will give me the added boost to keep writing and remembering.

I've also got other blogs and loads of projects I wish to accomplish. By the Grace of God, I'll have the continuing creativity to do all that.

It's really good to say goodbye to the past and to greet 2019 with a new heart, a new resolve, a new form of creativity, and a more open mind.

May all of you achieve and enjoy all your heart's desire for yourself and your families.

Here's wishing all of you a magnificent 2019!

God's Own Magical Song

When you search for God in your heart wanting to know Him in your own way, He really answers. And this I found in a way that's just right for me, for He knows my heart.

This time around, I experienced Him through music many years ago.

I was asleep one morning when, all of a sudden, I was "awakened" by music coming from my Mom's room. It was a beautiful, old song which I remembered so well and yet the lyrics "touched" me differently this time.

It was God's Song!

How was it possible that I had slept through the dozens of songs from this musician's concert my Mom was listening to and yet, that very last song "woke" me up at the most significant moment?

The words spoke to my heart. I had no doubt it was His Song for me and for all of us. So sweet, simple, and warm.

Just like I experienced Him as warm, sea foam from a dream, I again experienced Him from His Own Brand of Music. He knew I was going to acknowledge His Message from the simple but precise lyrics.

When you have a child-like heart
you just know when it's from God.

How?

Because you listen with your heart and not your mind.

The mind will block things with its logic, but the heart -- your very open heart -- will welcome messages just as it comes.

There will be no doubt, only gratitude and appreciation.

And a deep, magical feeling in your soul which you will carry throughout your life.

I Thank God for giving me this opportunity to share it with you.

Won't you like to know what Song God has for you? His very own "Thumbprint" in your soul?

Then remain open, for He will come at a time you least expect it, and in a manner that will tickle your soul. And at that wonderful, magical, precise moment, you'd know it's His Own song -- just for you.

The Soul of an Enlightened Entrepreneur

Entrepreneurs live in the idea zone.

But Spirit-filled entrepreneurs, the caring ones, live in the vision zone.

They envision something that would help themselves and everyone on the most precise level.

They will shun many projects, offers, and ideas if these don't truly help people, even at the risk of having to personally live super minimally till they get a project they believe in, going.

They will not work with people who merely wish to aggrandize themselves.

That's not the whole objective of their work, you see. Thus, many people think enlightened entrepreneurs are deluded beings with no sense of reality, but of course, how very off-base they are.

Such entrepreneurs will not create products and services that will make people addicted to it. That's what makes them an endangered species in this world of ours.

Enlightened entrepreneurs are not interested in making a fast buck for that's pretty easy and yet can be soul-less.

Sure, they may sell everything they own in pursuing their vision.

As they say, they will sell everything except themselves, their families, their friends, and their community.

That's tantamount to saying, they will not sell people so they can reach their objectives.

That's why it takes a clear vision, a magnanimous heart, and precise planning to get work done.

He will work with what he has, who he is, what God fires him up to do so -- and will only create stuff with real value.

There will be no empty promises for that will not fill his heart and help others.

It's the hardest thing to do, of course, for the world style goes totally against his own style of working.

But that's what real entrepreneurs are for -- to think independently of others.

That's his personal DNA.

He's cut out for the toughest job of finding or creating that which will be of real value to people. His search will be relentless.

He values your hard-earned money, for he, too, works hard to earn that dollar, even as you think he's a careless nut.

The enlightened entrepreneur can't really sell you useless stuff. That won't reflect all that praying, meditating, visualizing, thinking, sweat, and the God in his heart that powers him so.

Not to mention his boatloads of "experiments" to get things done as he carves a path for himself. Every experiment leads him closer to his ultimate dream or project.

He follows every conceivable thread God puts upon his path. He may work solo but it's not really so.

The enlightened entrepreneur is patient, persevering, tenacious, creative, kind, energetic, dynamic, imaginative, awake, and aware.

The man's got "soul".

Entrepreneurs usually work for themselves because they work and think fast, plus, they don't have the time to listen to a bored...I mean highly-paid board of directors.

The best minds in art, business, science, and technology know all about ideas that come from God, so they must pay attention.

Thomas Alva Edison was reputed to have a ball in each hand as he sat on a chair and napped (for he napped often) and if he came awake, the two balls would fall on metal pie plates positioned right below those creative hands. I haven't really heard if they accidentally fell on his foot. Now, that would really jolt the dude awake.

The idea being he'd remember what that dream or idea was.

We're now full of light bulbs because of him. He turned on the physical light for us and that made us work longer than we're already working but entrepreneurs don't mind. We have a built-in Energizer battery -- we just keep going.

Expect real entrepreneurs to be quirky, crazy, lost in their own wonderful, dynamic world of creativity and magnificent imagination. A lot of them see what we don't see, that's why we call them crazy. Still, they remain at it, oblivious to all naysayers and criticisms.

That's really how they test the strength and validity of their own vision anyway -- if their faith holds despite the clamor they do something more "normal".

Translated?

Normal is boring for true entrepreneurs. It goes totally against the core of their being. They don't mind your calling them all the delightful words in your cuss vocabulary. They have a mission to do and that day is now.

Sometimes, they forget to live in the real world where people have to sleep, eat, and be nice.

They're usually off in their art and science world, communicating with God (if they're the genuinely caring and prayerful ones), or talking to themselves as they work out all the variables of an idea.

Not all are like that, of course, but they do get off course from the human mainstream.

They're like frogs you will not be able to pin on a board and dissect for they don't like being pinned to a board and getting dissected. They love their freedom to think and be.

Entrepreneurs are a crazy, imaginative, hardworking lot who can create non-stop.

The only difference with the usual entrepreneur and an enlightened one is that the latter ALWAYS creates with heart and awareness. He's got so much faith in God that he will NEVER ever knowingly create products and services that will make people addicted to those. All for what? Repeat sales and ROI?

Nah, he's not that unimaginative.

The dude's got heart.

With God in it.

All the time.

God as Warm Sea Foam

It must have been my desire to know God so much that one day I finally did.

Never mind that He showed up as sea-green beach foam that felt warm against my feet.

This, as I found myself at the foot of a ravine.
Symbolic of where my life was, then.

The soothing foam reached up to my ankles and gently swirled around me.

Intending to relish the feeling, I didn't open my eyes right away.

I wanted to preserve all details of that dream, one early morning, many years ago.

So, that's how God felt!

Warm, comforting,
soothing, sweet, and gentle.

If that's all I knew about Him, the feelings were enough.

I'm pretty sure He liked playing with His equally-playful daughter, the one who will always be childlike.

Is that why Christ likes the children to come to Him, too?

Would a childlike heart
have a better understanding
of all things divine?

I guess the point really is that you must allow God to just show up as He chooses to with you.

You must release yourself from all that previous programming made upon your being.

You must be ready to laugh and giggle for God may just show up in the funniest and coolest ways, and only in a way you understand.

And once that happens, you will forever be changed.

Knowing God is a purely personal experience. We all have our own distinct ways of knowing Him.

I always pray to Him as a daughter would, happily, trustingly, and expectantly.

Just like a little child.
