The SONG in your HEART

Isaiah 30:29

King James Version

29 Ye shall have a song,

as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept;

and gladness of heart, as when one goeth

with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord,

to the mighty One of Israel.

We were all born with a song.

A song we sang in the womb.

A song that GOD gave us.

A song that will forever remain with us.

Have you found your song?

Have you sung it?

Or, perhaps, you've forgotten you had one?

Did the world encroach too much upon you?

So much so, you forgot that song?

Did the LORD's enemy muddle your thinking?

Did he make you forget?

There is a solution.

For all who have forgotten.

Pray to be born again.

You need to be born again.

To be a new man.

The old man has forgotten.

Your song waits for you.

Pray to know who you really are.

Unless you already know, and just don't want to admit it.

Or thinking you won't make money from it.

Money gets in the way, you see.

It kills your dream.

It devours your gift.

It makes you forget your song.

You once had a song.

Which continues to beat wildly in your heart.

Surely, you knew what you were good at.

Wherein you did things effortlessly.

Where others labored, you zoomed through.

As if there was nothing to it.

You were a natural at it.

Was it art, dance, writing, singing, teaching, convincing?

Perhaps, you had a thing for sports, or entertaining?

Maybe, you were a whiz at numbers?

Were you primed for leadership?

Did you have excellent memory?

Were you born popular?

What maverick lies in your heart?

What "genius" did GOD give you?

What spirit did GOD give you?

Genesis 2:7

King James Version

7 And the Lord God formed man

of the dust of the ground,

and breathed into his nostrils

the breath of life;

and man became a living soul.

His breath is in us.

Thus, His song is in us.

You didn't know that, didya?

It's up to us to remember.

There is no finding, if there's no digging.

There is no joy, if there is no sorrow.

There is no triumph, if there is no patience.

The solution?

Seek GOD first.

Jeremiah 29:13

King James Version

13 And ye shall seek me,

and find me,

when ye shall search for me

with all your heart.

Matthew 6:33

King James Version

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God,

and his righteousness;

and all these things shall be added unto you.

It's really the ONLY way.

That you may find your song.

SEEK GOD FIRST.

By ourselves, we can't do it.

John 15:5

King James Version

5 I am the vine,

ye are the branches:

He that abideth in me, and I in him,

the same bringeth forth much fruit:

for without me ye can do nothing.

I thought you said we must seek GOD first.

Now, you say, without JESUS, we can do nothing?

Well, dears, GOD and JESUS are ONE.

JESUS said so.

John 10:30

King James Version

30 I and my Father are one.

Notice the people's reaction when JESUS declared that:

John 10:31-33

King James Version

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them,

Many good works have I shewed you from my Father;

for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying,

For a good work we stone thee not;

but for blasphemy;

and because that thou, being a man,

makest thyself God.

Well, folks, those "stoners" haven't found their song.

If they did, they'd be following JESUS, and not stoning Him.

JESUS is that song.

Through Him, we live our lives.

Our gifts are meant to serve Him.

And to GLORIFY GOD, the FATHER.

I honestly hope you find the song GOD gave you.

Pray, to know.

ENJOY the JOURNEY!

SPIRIT in us

Job 33:4

King James Version

4 The spirit of God hath made me,

and the breath of the Almighty

hath given me life.

When the SPIRIT of GOD is in you, you will be a changed person.

You will want to know the Bible.

You will want to be born again.

You will want to know everything about JESUS.

You will want to know everything about GOD.

You will want to know GOD's truth.

You will want to obey GOD's will.

You will not want to sin anymore.

There is delight in obeying GOD's laws.

There is a desire to know how JESUS loved.

There is a looking forward to serving GOD each day.

There is gratitude for what SPIRIT teaches each moment.

There is awe at the power and magnificence of GOD.

There is understanding of the ways of the world.

There is the intention to share the gospel.

You will become a new person in CHRIST.

Ezekiel 11:19-20

King James Version

19 And I will give them one heart,

and I will put a new spirit within you;

and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh,

and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes,

and keep mine ordinances,

and do them:

and they shall be my people,

and I will be their God.

Romans 6:6

King James Version

6 Knowing this,

that our old man is crucified with him,

that the body of sin might be destroyed,

that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 13:14

King James Version

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ,

and make not provision for the flesh,

to fulfil the lusts thereof.

2 Corinthians 3:18

King James Version

18 But we all,

with open face beholding as in a glass

the glory of the Lord,

are changed into the same image from glory to glory,

even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:16

King James Version

16 For which cause we faint not;

but though our outward man perish,

yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

2 Corinthians 5:17

King James Version

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ,

he is a new creature:

old things are passed away;

behold,

all things are become new.

Galatians 5:16

King James Version

16 This I say then,

Walk in the Spirit,

and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 5:22-26

King James Version

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love,

joy, peace, longsuffering,

gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance:

against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh

with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit,

let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory,

provoking one another,

envying one another.

Ephesians 2:13-16

King James Version

13 But now in Christ Jesus

ye who sometimes were far off

are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace,

who hath made both one,

and hath broken down

the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity,

even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;

for to make in himself of twain one new man,

so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God

in one body by the cross,

having slain the enmity thereby:

Ephesians 4:24

King James Version

24 And that ye put on the new man,

which after God is created in righteousness

and true holiness.

Colossians 1:11

King James Version

11 Strengthened with all might,

according to his glorious power,

unto all patience and longsuffering

with joyfulness;

Colossians 3:10

King James Version

10 And have put on the new man,

which is renewed in knowledge

after the image of him that created him:

1 John 3:9

King James Version

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;

for his seed remaineth in him:

and he cannot sin,

because he is born of God.

1 John 3:24

King James Version

24 And he that keepeth his commandments

dwelleth in him, and he in him.

And hereby we know that he abideth in us,

by the Spirit which he hath given us.

A born again is naturally drawn to Scripture.

That's how he comes to know GOD's laws.

Once he knows, he shall never turn to his old ways again.

Hebrews 10:26

King James Version

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received

the knowledge of the truth,

there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Only because there is now a deep awareness, and gratitude, at being saved from sin.

How can anyone turn back to the old ways after that?

Especially after you have tasted GOD's mercy.

The SEARCH is OVER

John 4:10

King James Version

10 Jesus answered and said unto her,

If thou knewest the gift of God,

and who it is that saith to thee,

Give me to drink;

thou wouldest have asked of him,

and he would have given thee living water.

I was once a very thirsty person.

Always thirsting for knowledge.

Always searching for truth.

That thirst was finally quenched, when GOD made me born again.

It started out strangely that day.

Where it seemed to be a fruitless day, everything finally came to fruition.

The HOLY SPIRIT of GOD led me to two Bible prophecy videos which started the ball rolling.

The knowledge that this is a very disturbed world.

A world waiting for correction.

That we are all steeped in sin.

That, only by GOD's GRACE, are we still standing here.

That JESUS is our only HOPE.

That He is our only TRUTH.

That LIFE springs from Him.

That He is the ONLY WAY back to GOD.

Many things the HOLY SPIRIT taught me.

Every moment of the day, for nearly 33 months, straight.

It's all on my blogs, and books.

The BIBLE has so many treasures.

Apostle John said something significant:

John 21:25

King James Version

25 And there are also many other things

which Jesus did,

the which,

if they should be written every one,

I suppose that even the world itself

could not contain the books that should be written.

Amen.

Now that GOD led me to the Bible, I am happy, peaceful, grateful, content, blessed.

For the Bible holds GOD's TRUTH.

The search is over.

I've found truth, through Scripture.

The Holy Spirit teaches me each day.

He makes Scripture easy to understand.

Especially if you have a childlike heart.

A very eager, teachable, open heart.

With no sense of pride, or ego.

With no sense of entitlement.

Just meekness, at how little we understand GOD's WAYS.

But through the Bible, we can begin to.

Living by the Bible has become my main focus now.

It tells me everything I need to be, think, say, and do.

To be acceptable in the eyes of GOD.

There is no desire to be accepted by the world.

There is only a desire that all listen to the WORD of GOD.

Before it becomes too late.

GOD did not forget me.

He knew I searched for Him.

All my life.

He knew, I wouldn't stop, till I did.

And He was just there, watching my goings-on.

Knowing how very thirsty I was.

Knowing only through Him, could I find nourishment.

I thirst no more.

John 4:14

King James Version

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water

that I shall give him shall never thirst;

but the water that I shall give him

shall be in him a well of water

springing up into everlasting life.

Isaiah 12:2-3

King James Version

2 Behold,

God is my salvation;

I will trust,

and not be afraid:

for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song;

he also is become my salvation.

3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water

out of the wells of salvation.

John 10:10

King James Version

10 The thief cometh not,

but for to steal,

and to kill,

and to destroy:

I am come that they might have life,

and that they might have it more abundantly.

Contentment is a Beautiful Thing

When I think of peace, I think of the ocean.

Of quietude and nothingness.

Of not having to be anything or something, but just to be.

To relax and rest your mind.

To have your moment's peace and serenity.

Even as contentment can be anywhere you are, with who you are.

Of not having to compete in any way whatsoever.

Of patiently waiting in line as others do for you know you will have your turn, too.

Of knowing you have done your best and sometimes you just need to let things evolve on their own.

You become content when you have no competitive bone in your body.

It's also when you appreciate everything around you.

Especially when you know God has always been good to you, and that if there was unkindness among humans, it's always because we forget to be kind, sweet, and loving.

Many things we can be content about:

1. That we each were born into a family.
2. That we are able to wake up each day.
3. That we have food on the table.
4. That we have a place to sleep.
5. That we have clothes and shoes to wear.
6. That we have work, no matter how humble it may be.
7. That we are loved by God.
8. That God doesn't judge us.
9. That we have each other, no matter how few friends we have.
10. That we each have great potential.
11. That's there's nothing to prove to anyone.
12. That we are complete as we are.

Of course, that's but a few of the many blessings we have each day and each lifetime.

The days you feel unhappy, restless, or discontented, stop a moment and rest.

You need to care for yourself at that moment.

Perhaps, you're not feeling loved or appreciated.

Be kind to self always.

Don't let others pressure you into being who you are not.

God knew what He was doing when He created you.

You were created in the image and likeness of God.

That's a good ground for serenity.

Aspire never to compete.

It's much more fun to work harmoniously alongside others.

If you can't, then work well with yourself.

Some are cut out that way.

Discontent comes from comparing yourself with others.

I've already known a long time ago that there will always be better-looking, luckier, and more intelligent people than me.

I've come to terms with all that.

When you accept, you begin to relax.

You begin to appreciate yourself more.

All that really matters in the end is if you are living up to God's Truth alone.

And this blog intends to explore that.
