Ephesians 4:14

This post stemmed from a documentary I was watching yesterday.
On orphans, and orphanages in impoverished parts of the world.
Causing tears in my eyes.
As is always the case, I read all the credits, and sources.
I noticed the movie was done by LUMOS Foundation.
Digging deeper, I learned it was founded by J.K. Rowling.
Yes, of the Harry Potter books.
So I read up a bit on her.
Turns out she's had a difficult life during the early years, to the point of poverty, but not homelessness.
She loves her mom so much, but she and her sister have a difficult relationship with her father.
It hit her hard when her mom died from multiple sclerosis.
She also experienced pain, and abuse, from a difficult first marriage, wherein she had one daughter.
Unless we've become a single parent, we won't really know the real challenges she faced.
As GOD would have it, she was multi-talented, and persevering.
Rowling became successful through her Harry Potter books, films, and franchise.
Now, she's able to support her many causes.
Many people benefit from her kindness, and generosity.
And I'm very happy she experienced success for herself, her daughter, and her philantropy.
Still, I have to remain true to Scripture.
To quote a few on her massive work, we share with you the very telling basics.
On the LUMOS Foundation:
"Lumos" was named after the "light-giving spell" in Harry Potter.

Now, we turn to Scripture.
What does the WORD of GOD say about these things?
On the "light-giving spell".
There is ONLY ONE LIGHT, and that is JESUS:
John 8:12

I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.
GOD says the WORD, and it is done.
He doesn't cast "spells".
That's only the work of witches, warlocks, and sorcerers.
All minions of Satan.
The Bible tells us the future of such:
Revelation 21:6-8

the beginning and the end.
I will give unto him that is athirst
of the fountain of the water of life freely.

I was in total ignorance in the past, too.
Reading anything, and everything, except the Bible.
Worse, through my own ignorance, I had caused others to sin, too.
But soon as GOD made me born again in 2019, and turned me to Scripture, I did that 180-degree turn.
Now, I live, breathe, and study Scripture.
I would not want to go back to my old ways.
Because JESUS took pity on me, and saved me.
I can only count my blessings.
It's never too late to change.
As long as we're breathing, each day is grace.
May we take this opportunity to do right by GOD.
Before He decides it's time for the Rapture.
